Production Times & Shipping Services

All of our adornments and veils are skillfully handcrafted to order in our Brampton studio.
Please allow 1-2 weeks of production time for our smaller items (hair pins, small earrings, necklace, back jewelry, bracelets, simple non embellished veils) and 3-4 weeks of production time for our larger more complex items (shoulder jewelry, larger earrings, embellished veils, juliet veils, hair vines, combs and crowns). Swatch packages are also hand made to order and ship out of our studio within 1-2 business days.
Our made to order process ensures that you receive a beautifully crafted item made just for you. 
Rush Orders If you require your item rushed due to an upcoming wedding or event, please email us at hello@blairnadeau.com before placing your order to ensure that we can accommodate your rush request. Depending on the item and our production schedule an additional fee may be required to rush your item/s.
We can not be held liable or responsible if we are not informed the need by date at time of ordering. If we do not receive a request for a rush order, we will proceed with production as per our posted timelines. Items can not be returned if they are not received by the wedding or event date if we were not previously informed.
If you require your order to be rushed within a week of ordering, please purchase our Rush Listing along with your item/s. This will put your order ahead in our production queue. Please note that this listing is ONLY for the rush fee for processing time. If you require quicker shipping times, please make sure to select from the additional shipping options at check out on your purchased item.
 
This service is recommended for Canadian and USA orders as shipping times can also be expediated and available at checkout. For International orders, we can not guarantee that the order will arrive in time, even with our rush service. 
Please note that Rush Order Items are NOT eligible for a return
IF we accept a return for whatever reason at our discretion, the rush order fee is NOT returned.

NEW LOCAL PICKUP - we are pleased to offer FREE local pickup now for our GTA customers.  Please select local pickup at checkout and we will contact you when your beautiful order is made and ready for pickup.

Canadian Orders - All orders within Canada are shipped using Canada Post. We offer discounted shipping rates via Canada Post with calculated shipping at checkout to provide accurate real time rates.  For orders that have purchased expedited shipping, we cross reference Chit Chats Express rates at time of shipping and if the shipping method with Chit Chats is the lesser rate, we will ship via Chit Chats (fulfilled by Canada Post or local courier) and refund the excess shipping costs. For orders that have purchasd Xpress Post or Priority we always ship with Canada Post.

These packages have full tracking and up to $400 insurance.

Shipping Times: Expedited/Chit Chats Express is 2-8 business days. Xpress Post is 2-3 business days and Priority is 1-2 business days.

USA orders. All orders to the USA are shipped via USPS (fulfilled by Chit Chats). Items under $100usd are a flat rate of $8cad. Items over $100-200usd are a flat rate of $10cad and items over $200-800usd are a flat rate of $14. Any items that are over $800usd are shipped via DHL due to duty limitations with USPS/Chit Chats. DHL is on average $45cad-$75cad depending on value of items and size of package. We will refund any excess shipping costs at time of shipping.

Orders shipped to the United States are via first class mail with tracking. shipped with up to $300 insurance via USPS (United States Postal Service) from Niagara Falls NY

Packages to the USA should not incur duties or taxes as they are shipping directly from the USA (Niagara Falls NY) IF for whatever reason duties/taxes are owed, these are the responsibility of the receiver. The Maximum allowable we can ship via USPS from Canada is a value of $800usd. If your package is over $800usd it must be shipped via DHL. Please chose the DHL option at checkout. Please note that the USA/CANADA trade agree is Duty/Tax free up to $800usd. Any package over the value of $800usd can/will be liable for Duties and Taxes.
Our swatch packages are shipped by either USPS lettermail which is NOT tracked and takes on average 5-8 business days to arrive, or by USPS first class mail which is tracked and takes 3-4 business days to arrive. Both options are available at checkout.  

Shipping times: USPS is on average 3-6 business days. DHL is on average 1-3 business days

International Orders - Most international orders are shipped via Stallion Express using PostNL and APC Logistics with partial insurance and tracking. At this time we ONLY ship to select countries.  If you don't see your country listed, please message us directly and we can advise rates and shipping options! .  Average shipping cost is $12-25cad based on shipping location. Flat rate shipping rates are available at checkout per country. We also offer DHL express worldwide shipping to most locations. Please contact us directly for rates.

Shipping times: Average shipping times via Stallion Express/PostNL/APC Logistics are 7-30 business days to most international locations. DHL Express is 3-7 business days.

Swatch packages are shipped by lettermail (stamped) and can take up to 30-45 days to arrive to most locations. This is a non-tracked service.

DHL Worldwide - We also offer highly discounted DHL Shipping World Wide. Please contact us for rates. 
The Maximum allowable we can ship via USPS/AsendiaUSA from Canada to international locations is a value of $800usd. If your package is over $800usd it must be shipped via DHL or Canada Post. Please chose the Canada Post option at checkout and/or contact us for DHL rates. We will provide the absolute best rates we can.

 

United Kingdom - At this time, we are not registered to collect VAT with the UK Government due to the new laws with Brexit so we have decided NOT to ship to the UK via our website. If you are in the UK and you would like to purchase an item, please purchase through our Etsy shop as Etsy will be remitting sales tax on our behalf.  

We can not be held liable or responsible if an order does not arrive in time, or there are delays in shipping. This is COMPLETELY out of our control.

SHIPPING INSURANCE: All of our USPS packages and AsendiaUSA packages are shipped with up to $400 insurance to countries where insurance is applicable (there are a few countries where insurance is not possible - if you are concerned your country may not have insurance options, please contact us in advance). Canada Post shipments shipped via Chit Chats (standard shipping) have up to $400cad insurance. Canada Post shipments (xpress post) have insurance up to $100. Additional insurance can be purchased upon request. DHL shipments are fully insured.
Please note that insurance ONLY covers Loss and Damage, not Stolen packages. We highly recommend only shipping your items to secure locations or if you have a concern about security, please request a "Signature Required" option (USA/CANADA only) for an additional small charge. We can't be held liable if items are stolen from your location.
We do not ship to countries that Canada and the United States currently have embargos against.

German Packaging Act: German customers, we are now fully compliant with Germany's packaging act and have registered our business in the responsible recycling program. Our Registration number is DE1212455189541.

Custom Fees/Duty Charges: Please note that we are NOT responsible for custom duties or taxes incurred.  These are the responsibility of the buyer. Please ensure that you are aware of your countries importation and tax laws before purchasing. Items that are refused by the customer and are shipped back to us because of failure to pay import fees/VAT/taxes are not subject to a refund.

Incorrect Shipping Addresses: Please ensure that the address provided at checkout is the CORRECT shipping address. We are NOT responsible should and items be shipped to an incorrect address. If the item is returned back to us, the buyer is responsible for all return shipping fees.
Items Shown as Delivered but Not Received: If your item is tracked and has a delivery scan but you have not received the item, please contact us and your local post office immediately. USPS has a tendency to mark packages as delivered a day or two before actually delivering the item. So please hold tight for 1-3 days post "Delivery Scan" as it will most likely show up within that time period. USPS also will hide packages if they deem the area unsafe. Check flower pots, window wells and overturned garbage cans, we've seen it all! If your package shows as delivered and all the above solutions did not produce the package please contact USPS directly to see if they can do a GPS track of the package. Although we insure all packages, unfortunately once the package is shown as DELIVERED, our insurance will not cover the package. Please ensure your location is secure to receive packages. If it is not, we highly recommend sending the package to a safe drop location or another address that is more secure. We can not cover loss or theft of packages if they are shown as delivered. If you suspect that a theft has been made, you will have to file a police report with USPS and your local police department.

Lost Parcels/Non Delivery: If a package is shipped with full or partial tracking (see lists above) and full insurance (we insure all tracked packages) we will work with the shipping companies to locate the package and/or file a claim. International TRACKED packages are only deemed lost after 45 BUSINESS days. We can not file a claim before this date. In the meantime, if the item is replaceable (not OOAK), we will send out a replacement item at our cost (using the originally purchased shipping method) after the 45 business day wait time. In the case of a lost package/non delivery that is NON TRACKED, it will be at our discretion if we replace. We will only replace in this instance, not refund. 

Items Received Damaged: We inspect all of our items 3 times before packaging and shipping to ensure that they are in perfect condition. Every item is carefully packaged in a sturdy gift box and then shipped in a bubble mailer or sturdy mailing box. If you receive your item and it has been damaged in transit, please notify us within 48 hours of receiving the package. Any notification after 48 hours will not be honored. Please provide us with detailed photos of the damaged package as well as the damaged item. If we do not have these photos we can not file a claim with the mail carrier. Please do not throw out the damaged packaging until we have received the photos.
Damaged items WILL NOT be refunded, they will only be replaced. We do not offer refunds for damaged items, no exceptions.

Items Not Arrived by required dates: We can not be held responsible if your item/s are required by a specific date and we are NOT provided this information ahead of time. Unless a rush order has been paid or we have been given ample notice of your "need by date", we will ship all items as per our schedules outlined on our website Faq/Policies page.  Items are NOT eligible for returns if they do not arrive in time for your required date if we are not made aware of this date at time of order.
Please note that our shipping/delivery times are based on averages.  Excluding the USA, we CAN NOT be held liable if items are held in customs for longer then the average delivery time.  We have no control over this.  We will also not mark items as "gifts" to avoid customs/duties. This is illegal. Please do not ask us to do this.  Although Canada/EU has signed free trade regulations, some items may still have duties on them if not outlined in the trade agreements. Please familiarize yourself with your countries import laws and dutiable items before purchase. We will not be responsible should you owe duties upon receipt.
